Rested is a Mac app that runs on your computer. It has no account, no analytics and no telemetry, and it does not send your settings, statistics or activity anywhere.
All of it lives in the app's own preferences on your Mac. Removing the app removes it. Your licence is checked on the device with a signature, so the app never contacts us to confirm it and works with no network connection at all.
Payment is taken by Stripe, who receive your payment details directly; we never see your card. From the completed payment we keep your email address, your name if you gave one, and the licence key issued to you, so that we can send you the key and find it again if you lose it. That record is kept for as long as the licence is valid, and we do not use it to market anything to you.
The site is static and sets no cookies. It is served by Cloudflare, who process the request in order to deliver the page; we do not run analytics on it.
Write to [email protected] to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting the purchase record does not disable a licence you have already installed.
